Hey guys similar to Damon plus post I'd like to know you're opinions on Theron's Quest. I bought it because a game store had it for $10 and its a turbo game so I picked it up, though I don't have a CD unit yet (working on buying one) so I wont be able to play it for a bit. On a side note did I get a good deal on it? I don't care as much about the deal as much as whether it's a good game or not.
Thanks,
Matt

$10 is a decent price for any Turbo game.
TTi sent me Theron's Quest after I wrote them a letter which mentioned, among other things, the games in my collection and that RPG is my favorite genre.
It's worth playing through once, but is more fun if you wait long enough to forget most of it before playing through again.

Its really good, but not keeping your items between dungeons...that's just jank. The Amiga one didn't do that, did it?
Its been ages since I played either version.

the amiga version and SNES version was more like one GIANT dungeon, so you could keep all your weapons. The turbob version is worth more than $10, and it's a BLAST!
go for it!!

It's pretty good and certainly worth a measly Hamilton, though it could use more puzzles and starting from scratch on each dungeon is indeed baloney. When you finally get to play it, make sure you use the controller button combos for moving; using the onscreen arrows for movement is slow, clunky, and an exercise in frustration.

Thanks for all the opinions guys you've got me excited for a good Dungeon Crawler hopefully I'll get a CD unit soon.

Its not really a dungeon crawler though. Its more like a first person puzzler.
If you want a good dungeon crawler, get order of the griffon for HuCard. That games awesome.
