- Hudson announced they will be bringing the classic PC-Engine RPG title Tengai Makyou 2: Manjimaru to both PlayStation 2 and GameCube in Japan by the end of this year. The game is known as Far East of Eden 2: Manjimaru in US. The remake version will feature enhanced graphics, sound and movie clips.

- In addition, Hudson has resumed the development of Tengai Makyou 3: Namida for PS2 and GameCube, after the project scrapped several years ago, due to the fading market of NEC's PC-FX system. Tengai Makyou 3 is scheduled for release in Spring 2004.
