Ok... After going through Dungeon Explorer I had a hankering for some Cadash. It was one of my favs and I also have not played it in 15-20'ish years.
I picked the Warrior or fighter class. I remember some of the game so I grind a bit and then I literally just walked through the game. I didn't die once or even use a herb. Only thing I think I used was antidotes.
I remember beating this game with all the different characters back in the day and the game from what I can remember was much harder. Anyone else feel this game might be a bit to easy? What are you're thoughts on Cadash?
Btw, I went to get my camera of the end and it literally was only on the screen for a couple seconds. I barely got the camera turned on before it went back to the title screen, so I have no proof.

Well, you kinda said it yourself. How easy the game is, depends on how much you grind, like any typical RPG. You can make the game much harder by not grinding. Like most WD ports, it feels like the stat growths are just off. Popful Mail is incredibly weird in its stat growth functions.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if I grinded to level 6 or 8 on the green slimes and those pig guys in the first dungeon area just before the water so I went to level 8.
Then when I got to the rock guys before you get the silk for the rope I remember I grinded on them too so I went to something like lvl 18 and just bought all the things to get me the rest of the way to 255hp from the vendor.
So yeah.... lol
Oh then I went to play some Super Star Soldier. I remember beating that game without dying hoping I would have retained some of my skill at it... I just barely made it to the second level. I know I am rusty but was hoping I would do way better than that. I think my Plasma tv doesn't help either using the composite connection.
I really can't wait to order the XRGB and then put the Duo into my computer capture card and use it on my 144Hz monitors. Most likely be the lowest lag I can get unless I find a good old tv but I don't want a big tube thing again.

Holy crap that is a lot of grinding! No wonder the game was so easy :)

I usually grind till like level 8 or 9 on the pig guys in the first area and find that beating the game is a cake walk even if I don't actually get enough coin to purchase everything from the vendor or not. I think the last time I did it without a few pieces of top notch armor.

When I'm feeling too lazy to grind, I'll play up to the pudding, reset, then TORU cheat to the end.

What are you pussies doing not using the Ninjer or the Clericslut.
-
I wish I could play as a furry.
Anyway you guys need to play the sweet-ass Sega Genesis or arcade versions. Both of which are far more powerful than the TurboGrafx-16 version. Especially the Genesis which doesn't even need all four characters. But yeah it is easy. I beat it on a one-night rental back in the day (I never rented games longer than that). I picked it up last year from a member on here or in the Turbo Views facebook page or something. I haven't beat it again yet. Facebook is the bomb.

Ninja is easy (due to long-range attack and quickness).
The game is easy, if you grind a bit. If enemies did not respawn, folks would not be saying this game was easy.

If I can beat the game with all four classes, then, yes, it'd be easy for all ya'll! :)
-
It's a game with a level system. if you put the time in to grind then the actual mechanics of fighting, memorizing patterns and avoiding hazards are easier because there's a lot greater room for error. Not much else to touch on here.
-
I say the toughest time I had with the game was with the fighter single player. But otherwise, yeah a easy game....

idk, I played the Japanese version and the game was still pretty easy after you grind enough.
Only scary part is if you are poisoned and you have no herbs left. It's not hard to get back in time to a village though.

I'm with Paranoia: with grinding, all four characters are quite capable, even the Mage.

The Mage? He starts off weak, but he soon levels up to be nearly as strong as the Fighter but with the added bonus of devastating magic.

It was eon's ago, but I did beat it with the Mage at least once, so, as I stated, if I can do it, ANYONE can do it! :D

Exactly. If you can do it... :)

Maybe it's jsut me as I have never actually done a grind type of play through on the game, which means it's a tad difficult. I guess perhaps I'll go back and try to do it that way then. Oh, and Hey everyone...good to be back.

How you been, Brother? Craziness here, but still high kicking, you know? Trying to keep it together anyway...LOL
