Hello. I have seen some posts about insuring video game collections. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is possible and if so who do they recommend. I used to have renters insurance but recently got rid of it because my family is cutting down on unnecessary costs. I originally thought my renters insurance would cover my gaming collection, up to 15k, but recently when I talked to my rep he made it seem like they would only cover newer electronics (PS4, flat screen TV, PC, etc.).
Thoughts?

fabricate an SSN for it and claim your collection as a dependent. take out a life insurance policy on it. anything happens to it and you can not only throw a funeral for it but you'll cash out on that sweet insurance monies.
lol
Great idea.

I brought this up a couple years ago:

Long story short, what I came to was: Talk to your agent and make a detailed lists/documentation as to what you have (and approximate value) and send that to you agent for their records in case of something.
If your agents says "I don't know" and can't help you or blows you off I would find another agent personally. It only took my guy a bit of time to call up the underwriter and inquire as to what I wanted to get a solid response. This is mainly because they don't do rider policies for all types of collectibles, mainly just jewelry, art, guns, and some other things.

T to the bone, brother!
Yeah, there is an insurance program for your videogame collection! Namely, well, me! Give me your collection and I will ensure it stays with me for good! :P

It's similar to a rim job but not quite as tangy.

Lol @ Necro.
After a crummy joke is made and a drummer plays that well-known accompanying sound is what it is.

I would take $400 and ship it for free. You interested?

What's a rimshot?
It's where the tip of your stick hits the center of the head while your shaft simultaneously hits the rim.

I'm not Nullity, but I can judge by your question that you've never taught your son about the universe. Have you ever even tried putting it in a tube, brah?
