I know there haven't been many Turbo-centric game cons, over the years. I'm wondering, what are some of the ones, with a larger Turbo presence?
-
We needs some Turbofests in sunny Florida. =P~
It would be cool to have a get together were I'm not the only one with turbo stuff.

I run the game room at Animazement, and we always have a obey presence.
At MAGFest this year, Rob and I are helping out with a new "museum" area where we will have at least three turbobs running: Shuttle, briefcase, SGX and RX. In the past, the regular console room has been weak on TG/PCE representation but last year we fixed that with a similar 4x setup:

Other cons we support, we try to bring some Turbo love but nothing major, just 1-2 systems along with other nobey.

Midwest Gaming Classic aka MGC (early April) and Video Game Summit aka VGS (date ??) are annual events where the Turbo Fest Tour has a presence and PCEFX folk congregate. These both go down in Wisconsin. Also, in Chicago every October is an event called Octurbofest that is strictly turbo but generally smaller scale than the other events.
Video Game Summit is in July.

PRGE had a definite presence there last year. Then again, it was so big so why not..

The Video Game Summit takes place on Saturday July 16th at the Odeum in Villa Park, IL. We hold various Turbografx tournaments throughout the day.

If anybody knows of any happening near MD, hit me up! I think Magfest might be the closest thing we have, and I haven't even been back to that in years.

I had PC-FX, TG16 and Duo R at Free Play Florida on glorious RGB monitors

I missed that convention, I will definitely be there next year :)

While not Turbob specific, Josh's Pizza n Games (http://www.pizzangames.com/) has some good Turbob fun surrounded by SNERDs, FEKA agents, and basement dwelling weirdos with 38 sided dice.

This is great. I had no idea there were so many spots to bust out the turbo.

Speaking of conventions, anyone know of any gaming conventions at that happen in the Carolinas or perhaps Atlanta? I would love to attend one and maybe check out some Turbo stuff if anyone has any available. (though I know I'll probably over pay)
There's a guitar show coming up in my area later this month. I don't want to blow too much of my "play" money there if there's a chance I could check out some Turbo stuff in person!

This past year RetroWorld Expo hosted it's first expo in CT. There were a few sellers with Turbob items. Apparently it was a huge success the 1st year and moving to a larger venue and will be a two day event this upcoming year.

Toomanygames Convention in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Been going there for the past few years and they have a growing Turbo/PCE presence. One stand last year was strictly just PCE games and Stone Age Gamer was there with the Turbo Everdrive. This year it runs June 24-26.

I represent it at CCAG in Cleveland, OH.
nobody else there does
unless you count dipshit collectors with shit prices trying to rip a motherf*cker off.

Animazement in Raliegh has a decent game room...I run it. Rob runs a good retro area.
AWA in Hotlanta has a small obey presence in the arcade room(again, thanks to Rob and me). But I would not make a trip out of it unless you had other things to do in the city.
OP -> You have been to Lost Ark in Greensboro?
