Hey all, I've had my Duo for about 6 years, and just recently the music starts to fade in & out during play. The sound effects seem fine. I tried a new a/v cable from TZD, but that didn't solve it. Anyone have any ideas? I'd rather not take it apart myself (I'm technically inclined, but destroying my Duo would suck), and sending it somewhere is a bit freaky for me too. I've heard RetroGames will repair them, but haven't heard anything about their reliability. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. (http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif)

Hmm.....that sounds like some problem with the redbook audio. The circuits inside the DUO that process the audio from the CD to laser to the A/V output jack seem to be going out. If this is the case (and it really sounds like it) then you will have to send your DUO to someplace to get it repaired. Retrogames has been around for a long time and I've not heard of any problems with them. Aaron Nanto
