Title: Hardest PCE games?

What do you all think are the top 5 hardest games? I heard people say Deep Blue is the hardest but I amm not so sure. Deep Blue was definitely hard but there are probably harder games out there.

Rayxanber, Tatsujin, and Raiden are much tougher than Deep Blue..... at least in terms of technical difficulty.  Due to the lack of redeeming qualities, Deep Blew is harder to make yourself play.   :mrgreen:

Arrrgghhh!  F that right in the A.  With the limits on saving, it makes it super tough to go exploring.

You consider Raiden harder than Deep Blue? Maybe its just because its so fun but it seems 10x easier. I just tried out Creatures of the Night, it reminds me a lot of Shadow of the Beast, it seems very hard.

I had a hard time with Energy, until the hacks that cabbage put with the translation.

Turricant!  It's cool watching Rover play it, as he has that shit memorized and makes it look good, but playing it is torture.  There's way too many blind jumps required and assholes shooting you from off screen.

Most difficult game is Bomberman 94 because it's best played with five players and it's impossible to find people to play with :(

Tricky Kick is pretty hard.  I put a lot of effort into Aero Blasters and I don't recall ever beating it.  I find Vasteel hard because it crashes, does that count?  I feel like actually beating Devil's Crush would be hard but I've never taken a realistic shot at it.  And yeah, gonna go with Raiden to round out my top 5.

Deep Blue I've managed to get several loops through.  It's much easier when you realize your primary goal is just to stay at the top of the screen and not die.

i've never beaten r-type tbh, stage 6 is best i ever did on one good. if i were to go back to r-type, id probably just stick to part 2 hucard with the password haha

i've 1CCed tatsujin on easy and 2CCed it on normal, the rapid fire helps of course
side arms is just insane, i did that within the default continues provided but i could never 1CC that
never played image fight except the first stage...at this point in my life i don't really play hard games anymore!! lack of time, too much stress
