1943 Kai

So, it's going to be a crazy month for me and I won't have a ton of time so 1943 Kai it is! This is kind of like the arcade version but definitely it's own game, especially in Original mode . I actually like it more. It's a lot faster paced. Has some good chip tunes as well. This should be an easy pick up and play! Have fun!

Yes, it will be a merry  Kai mas. Did a quick run today. Only got to level 4. Man it has been a bit since I've given this game a go. Time to practice.

Absolutely love this one. It gets overlooked a lot because of 1941 but the original stages are so freaking fun, and sweet sampled drums. My only real critique is the original mode final boss is the same Yamato battleship fight, not even spruced up like your plane.

There?s a cheat code in the sound test for people who think the main game is a bit too bland and wanna skip ahead to the new stages.

So, I played this game on emulator back when and thought "Eh, it's fine."  And then suddenly, Wowee!  That "They had us in the first half, I ain't gonna lie" meme seems very appropriate for this game.

I never gave this game a chance. My 1943 was always the NES port. I loved that game.

That's all changing. It's Kai-stmas!

just upgrafe the laser twice and you're good, homie
the laser is pretty much the best weapon in the game
