I'd say it's a great port! Have you ever played the original? With all the sprite scaling and rotating going on, there's no way they could have done it any better on the PCE with sprites or BGs.great words and such true!

But Space Harrier, Outrun, and Afterburner II are way smoother and they're not exactly the epitome of spirte scaling.

what i mentioned above. the engine and power drift hardware can't be compared in any aspects. but what asmik did, is to bring your homes best port of that game at that time and platform wide. as i said, it isn't tha overburner, but still a good and special racer for that time.

All we see is what looks to be some ground texture and part of a building, and ark's expansion of the pic certainly hasn't revealed anything useful or looks like much of anything. Gulliver Boy is an all-round awesome and fun game, if a little gaijin-proof due to its non-linear gameplay. It is a traditional RPG for the most part, except that you do a lot of sailing around the world. At one point, you wind up battling as a mecha in a coliseum with Ys gameplay.

Quiz games can have good music & graphics. For example, Capcom Quiz games, & Quiz Marugoto The World, which has music by Macco (of Dungeon Explorer fame), if I recall.
And some are even fun to play, provided you understand japanese of course. Quiz Caravan Cult Q is my favourite. I've played it with japanese friends of mine and it almost felt like playing Bomberman.
