Yesterday my Duo (an original black model) arrived in mail and it worked fine. Now for some reason the music from the CD games play but some of the sound effects are now mute. For example, when you start Dracula X you usually hear a loud door sound when you press run. Now I hear nothing. I think it might have to do with the lens or something. Is there any possible way to fix this?

The music comes in real time from the CD, and the creaking door sound doesn't, so it has nothing to do with the laser/lens.
Chances are your Duo has some crapped out capacitors in the audio circuit. This seems to happen to a great deal of the original black Duos (US and JP).

So let me guess, Nat or D-Lite would fix the capacitors for me right?

It seems that these days Nat would be the best choice.

Yea,Ceti sent his Duo to Dean 3 months ago with no words back yet,so hit Nat up.
