Title: Worst game ever
Post by: guyjin on December 18, 2004, 02:33:38 AM
What, In your opinion, is the worst TG16 game ever released?

IMHO, it's Pac-land. the controlls are bizzare, and the game is uninteresting. it seems to go on and on and on without end - and I haven't the patience for the game to see if it even has an end.

Thats a classic imo, the control is meant to be like that;)

F1  Pilot is pretty dire.........maybe not the worst, but it gives me nightmares cause i swapped Final Soldier for it when i were a child:(

China Warrior is the worst! Pac-Land does have the option to change the controls to a more normal setup. I also think Impossamole is pretty bad.

I must have a penchant for the shit:lol:

China Warrior is another fave of mine, really it is.

See  also Golden Fighter on Super Famicom, its similar to an update, great too (if you are me;))

I too liked China Warrior  :D There's far worse.

1) Davis Cup Tennis
2) Pacland
3) Adams Family?
4) Ghost manor
5) Final lap
6) Prince of Persia (the control kills it)
7) U-boat?

Not sure on 3 & 7, just what I've heard from other users.

final lap twin is SOOOO much fun! i remember my cousin and i when we were back in middle school would race with the names 'School' & 'No School' if it was snowing or something and whom ever won that was what was to happen the next day.

I agree. Final Lap Twin was an incredible game at the time. I absolutely loved the RPG mode!
Prince Of Persia was one of my favourite games. In fact, I played it a few days ago at the highest speed setting and had a blast. The control is meant to be like that to add realism.
From the list, I would have to say that Ghost Manor is by far the worst. I can't figure out what I am supposed to do in  the house damn it! Can anyone help?

maybe I should revisit Final Lap, cause I remember I didn't like it too much playing on my Express at the time.  Maybe because I had already played Super Monaco GP (Genesis) before I experienced this title and thought that the best.

Y's I&II!  JUST KIDDING!  ;)

My votes would go to either Ghost Manor or Night Creatures.  I really looked forward to Ghost Manor when it was first coming out because I love those Haunted Mansion games, but man did it ever suck!  Night Creatures was pretty craptastic as well.

final lap twin is a really great game... RPG mode was a lot of fun and original

Double Dungeons on the otherhand... was bad
Ballistix wasn't that great
Battle Royal is the worse wrestling game I've ever played
China Warrior was a lil below average

Can't have a crap list without Silent Debuggers. Doesn't get much worse than that one.

WOW no1s mentioned DropOff?
I usually have to defend my love for this craptabulous game every time this thread arises. Yes it does suck on a TG-16, but it is sweet on a turboexpress.

Deep Blue is also not quite deserving of some of the crap that is thrown on it, but it definately should not have been a showcase title when the TG-16 was debuted in America

I dislike Camp California and Jack Nicholas Turbo golf greatly
both just didnt seem fun to me, which is what drew me into all those game in the first place

Most of the others i dont ever play anymore are listed above,,,good job guys!

Ghost Manor is INDEED a shitty ass game.

Terrible direction! Seems like you wander aimlessly hoping yer doing the right thing to advance.

Sucks ass.

there is a bad, bad, bad PCE shooter called "rock on" that I have grown to love.  it has amazing cover art, to boot.

Darkwing Duck was abominable.  I never cared to get past the first stage... or maybe it was too difficult due to the controls?

battle royale-- wow, it's fun to get a bunch of friends toegether and play this-- IF ONLY TO LAUGH.  Seriously, the only enjoyment I got from this was fathoming its sheer crappiness.

Check out the review for BATTLE ROYALE from TurboPlay Magazine... it's totally apologetic as it sugar-coats an overtly crappy game:

The final sentence in the review is golden! It reveals the reviewer's guilty conscience!

That Battle Royale looks decent, but plays so stiff and shitty.

I was never too fond of Hit The Ice for any system. Which reminded me of Battle Royale for looks an control.  I still say Ghost Manor is the worst.
