I don't know if there's ever been discussion about this here, but have any of you seen/investigated the data chips for the KORG Wavestation synth?
they sure look familiar. it'd be pretty wacky if a hucard wound up making random sounds on this machine. rather unlikely though.

yeah..we had a thread about those korg wonder hueys before :)
but i don't think, someone here ever before did any investigations about their actual content.

Neat stuff. I don't remember hearing about these little buggers before, so thanks for sharing.

my friend has a wavestation - I've asked him to see what happens if he puts in a proper hucard. I'm sure the answer is "nothing," but it's still interesting to think about! I'd rather know than not know!

Actually, it depends on the HuCard ROM content, and, to a lesser extent, your willingness to abuse the Wavestation.
With Wavestation powered on, quickly swap two titles back and forth (results vary, but alternating "PC Denjin" and "Coryoon" produces some interesting things). Also, and this is optional, peer through a kaleidescope whilst listening.

this sounds very suspicious!!!

Interesting, I thought that the Korg DS-10 was Korgs first foray into console gaming.
