Title: Formation Soccer on J Leauge
Post by: Obfuscate on June 30, 2010, 05:25:49 AM
OK, since the world cup is going on and I like Soccer I have been playing this game alot. Problem is it's tough as hell to score or at least since I can't read Japenese I'm sure I'm missing something in the manual that explains it. The gameplay is actually pretty fun but it's getting frustrating and I've only been able to win 1 game in about 20 or more trys. I know it's not a game most people have or play but figured it couldn't hurt to ask here in case someone knows if there is any trick to scoring or other tips.

The longer you press the shoot button, the higher the ball will go. Just a short pressure on the button is ok. And you have to be at the right place too.

I have this game and IMO its pretty great. My favorite pre-32-bit soccer game...I think.

I haven't played it since the 1994 World Cup was in my mind so...I can't remember much. I do remember it being sort of tough though, and I think lot of my goals were headed in so...try that.

I'm absolutely no soccer fan, but if you want play the best soccer on the PCE, try Formation Soccer '95 della Serie A :)

Yeah, that would be the one that came out the year after, and the final one, right?

I've been meaning to get it but haven't gotten around to it.

Soccer is a sport?  It has fans?  World Cup?

If you don't use a bat to play, then it doesn't matter...

Thanks for the tips! I'm actually a little shocked this thread got any replies. I actually enjoy old sports games, not as much as shooters and action RPGs but I do enjoy them.
