Title: It's going to be a long weekend.
Post by: Ayce on September 04, 2010, 02:33:22 PM
I just got a package in the mail with 5 TG16 games and my Express. Only... I was not around when the mailman came by so he took it back down to the Post Office and they are now going to be closed till Tuesday. I'm so upset  ](*,)

That happened to me about three times two weeks ago when I was getting a package from another forum member that lives in Hong Kong. I get a lot of packages every month, but these packages from Hong Kong are starting to need signatures when they didn't used to. Hang tight. :)

I have also suffered from such an instance; the wait for the post office to reopen is quite unbearable :x

Yep, my mailman used to like to deliver packages (and mail) after 7:00 so by the time they drop off that little note, they're already closed and you have to wait til the next day (or week if it's a Saturday) to pick it up.

The problem with the house I currently live in has those cluster mail boxes that have the bigger boxes where they leave a key so you can get into them. Someone pried open one of the big boxes so now the USPS wont deliver packages they just leave you the slip and have you pick it up. The don't even attempt to bring it to your house. I live in a good neighborhood so I wish they would have just left it by my door. I leave things outside all the time and they don't get stolen. But packages are a bit of a mystery to people so maybe they would have taken it. Oh well... Tuesday is only right around the corner. And it's not like I've never played these games before.

If you're planning on ordering regularly you might want to go into your post office and speak to the manager there and try to make arrangements to have packages left at your door.

I second that! Excellent idea.
