The Duomazov Brothers are right.  This title while mostly getting praise isn't talked about enough  :|

Nect, I couldnt agree more.  Dragon's Curse is my absolute favorite HuCard game.  Quite possibly my favorite game for the entire system.

Once you've played through the game, you will see how much variety there actually is in the gameplay.  As good as the others in the series are, this is the best.  No, it's not high drama.  No, it's not super fast-paced.  It's just heaps and heaps of... how do you call it?  AWESOMESAUCE?!?!?

I personally think that Dynastic Hero is the 2nd best in the series (but many, many games surpass it on my list).

AWESOMESAUCE

I wholeheartedly agree.  I know the PCE/TG is well known for it's prowess with shooters..but  so many of the platformers, etc. don't get near enough attention (outside of DracX).  Dragon's Curse, Son Son II (IMO easily KILLS Dynastic), even Genji Tsushin Agedama aare all great games.

I still have my original copy that a buddy actually sold me in my freshman year in HS (1993).

I have kept it clean ever since.  By far my favorite music too.  I disagree that the Master System music was better (forgot which episode of PC Engine City that was).

Oddly enough I have yet to beat it. =(

I think it was the first game I ever actually officially beat.

Most games beat me.  LOL

What's with all of the Dynastic Hero hate?  If you asked me to pick between each of those games, it'd be like asking me to pick which one of my parents I liked more...  just ain't right.

Both are a 8/10, very solid.

Not so much hate, as DC is more fun IMO. Dynastic is in the same ballpark as Magical Chase...wouldn't be talked about NEAR as much if not for the OMGZ RARE BIG $ factor.

I may be in the minority, but I feel that the main reasons Dynastic gets a bad rap are rarity/cost and that it isnt as good as Dragon's Curse.  Had it not been tied to the other, it would be hailed as one of the better games on the system.  I'd surely give Dynastic 8/10, but I'd give Dragon's Curse 10/10.  The biggest gripe I've seen is the rather simplistic graphics.  Personally I feel that was a huge plus BITD to have a game that worked better (due to the way the graphics were arranged) than most if not all of the other hucards on the TurboExpress.

Dragon's Curse is indeed one of the best HuCards. It's the perfect version of Wonderboy 3.  The only things I prefer about Wonderboy 3 are the monster designs (you, not the NPCs) and the fact that it's called Wonderboy 3.  The music is pure gold!

Just get the J-Version then. With 10 bucks already you may be in :)

A great game as well. And has one of the best soundtrack of ever.

I think Dragon's Curse gets kind of a bad rap because it's just Wonderboy III with sharper visuals but that only means more people get to play this awesome game to me.

You're only dumb if you don't want a copy of Dragon's Curse.

Hard to believe that there could be any individuals out there who don't want a copy of Dragon's Curse/Adventure Island.

Well I guess you can call me "dumb" since I was thinking of getting rid of my copy of Dragon's Curse.  I only played through the first level, but I wasn't too impressed.

After hearing all the praises, I have to give Dragon's Curse another go.

Wow, unless you TOTALLY hate platformers, I can't imagine not liking Dragon's Curse.  Give it more time, and I think you will find that it is much better than you first thought.

Dragons Curse is pretty awesome, but I don't play it often.  I get bored with it for some reason.  I beat it one time and never really did so again.    I guess I am more of a Bonk-style platformerperson.

Music is <3 in it for sure though.
