Title: Another Afterburner music mashup
Post by: sunteam_paul on November 28, 2010, 03:23:33 AM
I've made another vid, this time mixing the Arcade and PC Engine music 50/50 throughout. Again it shows how, despite some technical limitations, the Engine sound is remarkably accurate to the arcade version.

Nice. Which version of the arcade music did you use, with melody or without? I don't know why they took the melodies out of AB2.

The version I use is the one that you hear. Um, did that make sense? Melody version from the Sega GSM Vol 3 CD - I thought only the first stage music had an alternate non-melody version?

Gotcha. I didn't know if you had the PCE melody playing over the non-melody arcade (that might be interesting to hear). Both Final Take Off and After Burner have alternate melodies that were deleted for After Burner 2.
