Perhaps some folks here are already aware of this, but I recently stumbled across the TG-16 DVD Cover Project (http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=4007.105)
If there's an old thread about this, I blame the weak search function on the forum :)

Meh -- personally not that excited. The project makes more sense for the POS US Sega Saturn cases (which there is one, actually), but the turbo's standard jewel cases are pretty easy to replace.
-
This is great if you want to double the amout of space it takes to store your games.
They look kinda nice though.
-
I don't like any case that can't properly hold the game (these) or the instruction manuals (when used for Saturn games).
-
I have seen those but never bothered posting here because 95% of the members here will hate them. I like the Sega CD dvd cases though and have pics on here of the ones that I did.

Good man.
How to put this as nicely as possible.... For some systems, as has been indicated, this is a neat idea. For the Turbo, this is an awful idea.

Totally stupid excuse for people to buy more plastic crap (packs of DVD cases). I imagine the manuals only fit under the bottom insert fastener. OK maybe for CD's, but what do the hucards do, slide around loose? Then you still need room to store whatever original cases you do have and they won't line up nicely next to the taller DVD cases. I'm really trying to think of how these would be useful and the only situation I can imagine is for someone who owns a bunch of hucards they bought dirt cheap w/o cases and a bunch of CD-r "backup" games.

i pass on it. Its cool to see a turbo game in a different case but thats it. its cool you posted it. I love seeing new things people are doing for the turbob/pce

They'd be cooler if they stuck to the original box design and it's great that people love the Turbob enough to spend time creating these things, but they ain't for me.

That's what they show in the linked thread, and they suggest little stick-on clips to hold the HuCards.

I hear you! These aren't for me, either, but I thought someone might be interested in it. I feel that the designer was a bit gratuitous with the TG-16 logo...if that were removed from the spine and the top corners of the front/back, I think the overall look would be much nicer. I love the TG-16 logo, but it just doesn't fit on the redesigned layout.

This is what I thought, as well. I figured someone might want to dress their budget collection in fancy clothes :)

That's precisely why I posted it :)
