Title: Is "Game of Japan" Usually slow?
Post by: SaturdayMorningRobots on March 30, 2011, 05:38:39 AM
I've made a couple of orders from Hit-Japan with no problem, but Having made an order with their non Ebay store Game of Japan on the 17th My order is STILL being processed 13 days later! Are they usually that slow? I wrote to ask if there was a problem and the only reply I got was "sorry for the inconvenience, your order is still being processed." I hope I'm not stuck in limbo for an out of stock game.

It might have something to do with the quake. Maybe. Maybe not.

I have that same problem too. I ordered a few games thru eBay about a week after the quake and I received them already. I ordered a arcade card duo just a few after that, on the 16th, they only shipped it on the 25th.

I still haven't received my order that was shipped on 02/14th...so that was one month before the quake...

They usually not slower than hit-japan on Ebay
but with the quake and Tsunami things are not exactly normal in land of the rising sun :(
I my self made a buy on ebay from a jp based seller that does not answer to mails and I'm not paying until they answer

A seller doesn't have to be in a disaster zone to do that. Had that happen Ordering some NES carts from an American Ebay seller recently :) And yeah don't pay till you hear back.

My order finally shipped today so I feel better. I don't mind the wait just the lack of communication (Language barrier is no excuse.) I'm getting Spriggan, Spriggan Mk 2 Asuka 120% Puyo Puyo and Ranma 3. (which I used to own) :)

I've had him be a bit slow (by a few days) to respond to out of stock order problems, but I've never had a problem with him not shipping stuff quickly once everything was worked out.  Chalk it up to concerns of Godzilla being enraged by the radiation leaks, I guess.

Hit-Japan is one of my top eBay sellers to deal with.

Godzilla Likey!

I've not had problems with Hit or GOJ, but if I elect to use SAL shipping, that method can take forever!

I ordered image fight with hit of japan thru eBay on march 26th and it arrived today via airmail. I'm still waiting on the arcade card pro I ordered thru game of japan website on the 16th. I know I didn't choose SAL shipping method. This suck because I'm dying to play gate, lords and sapphire on my pce ifu cd setup.
