The PlayStation Store is live today in the USA and Bonk's Adventure, Bomberman '94, and Alien Crush are on sale for $5.99. They're playable on both the PS3 and PSP.
-
Can they be DL'd using a PSP, or do you have to have one of those updated PS3Do's to get Turbob goodness?
-
Pretty sure you can use a PSP, just by selecting PS Store from the menu.
-
Actually, besides those 3, there's also Neutopia, Dungeon Explorer, World Sports Competition, & I think a few more. I did think there was supposed to be trophy support for them though?
-
Yes says PS3/PSP so looks like you can play on both. Doesn't mention trophy support
Also I wish I could view all the turbo titles like the Neo Geo lineup.
-
Yeah, I think there are nearly 10 titles on there now. Some good ones, too. I'll change the thread name...
-
This is great! i purchased bonk and been playing since. ExCeLlEnT!

Are there trophies?

Actually Duo you can but its kind of weird. If you go into the "PS3 games" menu I believe it will pop up in those every changing windows in the playstation store on the left hand side of the screen. It will be labeled Turbografx classics with the TG16 logo. Highlight it with the controller and hit X.
Are there trophies?
Trophies? We don't need no stinkin trophies! :x :P

Trophies are the only reason I think I would buy a game, but I don't think these have any unless someone can confirm.
-
Interesting. I have the complete opposite view. To me they have no purpose. I feel like i'm collecting junk. If they did something "in game" to enhance it (which maybe some do) I'd probably be into them. I'd be interested to hear why you like them in all seriousness.
-
I like them because it adds a little "meta" game on top of the regular game; that is, if they're done right. If you were to get a trophy in Bonk for something as trivial as "Perform a Head Butt", that'd suck. But if it asked you to do something that was a challenge (Beat T-Ractorhead in under 60 seconds), it can add a fun layer to the game.
