Well, I hope they get the bastards! I live out in the country so theft has never been a problem out here. But, one day I may have to move into town and that scares the hell out of me. With all the sweet obey and other games I own getting them lifted via break-in would be a nightmare.

Yeah! Someone should offer professional booby-trap services for cars. I'd be first in line.
If anyone gets any leads on a "fair priced" copy of Coryoon, please lemme know!

Man that blows.

You probably had it broken into BECAUSE it was a beater car.  Beater cars usually = gooned up locks, no alarms, etc.   Easy target.  and from my experience at least, all the little Japanese cars are easier to get frikkin stereos in/out of. :-/  Sucks.

Someone broke into my friends jacked up Taurus once.

They took his original gameboy, and his stereo (shitty aftermarket CD player one)....  if they weren't so stupid they would have known the board games in his car were worth wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than the stereo, lol.

at least around here... the most common break ins are the doofy beat up cars.  That and I forget the model, some kind of oldsmobile, but they get stolen because the catalytic convertor and some other crap in it are worth $$.

Hopefully they track the idiots down.  My friends stuff got tracked down because the thieves hit a few other cars and made the mistake of breaking into a car on the street around 3am, not realizing the owner was sitting on the porch smoking.  Not sure what all the owner did, but I'm sure it was comical.

Arkhan your mention of the board games reminds me of when my 89 accord was stolen...  I had over $1,000 worth of magic the gathering cards in a small little box in the car, but the thief left them in the car when it was abandoned. He did steal my loose cd collection which was in the car, along with the stereo which had my pce nobunaga in it...

well as you said they are easy targets. Funny thing was mine was actually stolen twice. First time the thief left in in the parking lot of my apartment after using it to jam a fridge into the rear hatch and taking it somewhere... After that i put a club on it, but when it was stolen the second time they cut the steering wheel to remove the club.

When we had our Mitsubishi, someone once had the balls to come onto the property and steal the spoiler off of the trunk. Another time, they swiped the music CDRs out of the glove box (someone left it unlocked), but left the mp3 player that was dangling from the mirror (I guess they didn't know what it was). That was all before we started allowing the dog to live outdoors. Nothing's happened since then.
