an idea for storing loose hucards

So sometimes when I go to Fred's, I see albums that collector's of baseball cards or Magic the Gathering are supposed to keep their cards in.  I was wondering, would these be a good way to store Hucards/TurboChips, or are they prone to static?

A lot of people do that to store their games and it works great!

For large collections, a 3 ring binder with baseball card pages works well. For smaller collections, a business card case works well also. However, if you go the business card case route take a few hucards with you to the store to make sure they fit. I had to try a few before I found a case at OfficeMax that fit them well without being too tight.

So there's no danger of static from these things?  That's what I was worried about.

ive had mine in a plastic card case since the mid 90's without a problem

The dust jackets are made of plastic too and there is no static from them.

Fred's is basically a competitor to Dollar General, a small store for people who are on tight budgets.

(that's not to say they only sell crap... I picked up The Penumbra Collection for the PC for only ten bucks there, and the last one I went to had season two of The Flintstones for only ten bucks too)

Not all plastic is created equal - some have anti-static properties, some don't.  That said, there's not much to worry about here; static charges build up from friction, so y'all will be fine as long as you're not sliding the games around on the carpet or rubbing them vigorously against your crotch.
