Good job on getting GoT. The good news is that this is a great game, but you obviously knew that. If there is any bad news is that its quite possibly the best game on the system meaning that its all downhill from there.

Seriously, there are loads more fun games to play for sure, but only 3 or 4 are actually as good as GoT. GoT is amazing.

As far as shooters go at least.

I really want to play this one... I remember seeing the preview when I was young on the Turbo Duo VHS tape. Waiting for an affordable 3 in 1 version complete with all 3 manuals to show up

I'm one of those guys who had a ton of stuff in his collection (quite a bit of PC Engine stuff, but HuCard and CD) and sold most of it all. Now I'm starting from scratch. My only NEC stuff now is a TG-16 and 7 games.

Anyway, yeah, Gate of Thunder Rocks!
Make sure to pick up Lords/Winds of Thunder. Don't forget that, if you have a US Duo, you can play JP CD games without having to modify anything (except for games that require the Arcade Card upgrade). CD and Super CD games are region free!!! That means that nothing is stopping you from picking up Castlevania: Rondo of Blood (Dracula X: Chi no Rondo). It is arguably the best game on the system, along with Gate of Thunder, Lords of Thunder, and Ys Books I&II (and others of course!).
