Anyone here like Bravoman, the really obscure Japanese superhero parody by Namco? Well, Namco is bringing it back with an all new comic!

Nah without the WWII bombing haircut it is not doing it for me, at all. It looks like a fan made version of the actually series.

Wasn't Bravoman from the game just a salaryman turned into robot by alien plot magic ? That there looks like a little kid.

So basicly a reverse Keith eh ? Also Dr. Bomb (whatever his is in Japan) looks more like a cross between Gunkan from Bobobo and that pervert from Shaman King.

I like all the (limited) pop culture that surrounds Bravoman, but I still can't get too excited about the PCE game itself. I have been curious about the arcade version... one of these days...

I've played the both versions. The PC Engine version has worse(but still nice) graphics, an extra boss(or two), and a two button control scheme(one is jump and one is hit, the longer you hold it, the farther you hit), and a secret boss endurance type mode. The arcade however has a 6 button control scheme like Street Fighter II(so jump is up), extremely brutal difficulty, better graphics(arcade, duh), completely different level design(so like two different games), bosses take only 5 or 6 hits instead of 20 or so, but they are much more brutal. 8 more stages(most of them you just fight 2 bosses at once.) and an intro.

Hope this helps you out Estaban :)

That totally helps out, thanks. I am even more intrigued by the arcade Bravoman now. For some reason I thought the arcade had a pressure sensitive button for attack, but I was probably daydreaming of Bravoman and confused my fantasies with reality (again!). Street Fighter had pressure-sensitive buttons...
