This game is a great and fun game, but it obviously is a big swing and miss.

Ah, it's actually called Volfied, the D just looks like a V because of their crazy typeface.

Google Volfiev and it will show results for Volfied.

Long story, don't ask.

VolfieV is a great game! Classic. PCE version is nice (no complaints).

I have some complaints.  Music sux, much like Taito's other PCE "efforts", and they used the awful dithery VCE setting that doesn't reduce video artifacts like other PCE games do.  Again.

I hear you. It could be better. However, as it stands, it's still nice.

Played through both this port and the Amiga one. Honestly I liked the PCE version better.

There were still many moments rage found in either version. I think I preffer Cacoma Knight, honestly. It looks a bit better in my opinion and is alot easier.

I haven't played Cacoma Knight, but it looks interesting and I've just put it on my list of games to play at some point in the future (before I die).

I spent a ridiculous amount of time playing the orignal Qix (arcade and ports), so Volfied on PCE was a nice upgrade for me.

I will admit that the "naughty" version of Qix/Volfied (Gals Panic) is actually decent. No, I did not play the game for the digitized boobs. The overall presentation and mood of the game is compelling and endearing on its own--they did not need to use boobs. It would have been nice if the developers explored a creative, non-boob angle to the game.

I'm totally serious!

Anyway...
