can somebody tell me what the ending song is? The Jazz track that is played during the credits? I LOVE that song!

been searching online for it now for a while, no luck though...

Is it based off some previously released song? I don't know any information about it, but yeah it's a very nice tune along with all of the other tunes in the game (mainly the CD ones). Great jazzy soundtrack.

The CD soundtrack of Murder Club was written by renowned pianist Masahiro Sayama, who also composed Seiya Monogatari (Unearth Fantasy Stories) and did some piano arrangements for Square.

ccol Kaminari, I can't read japanese though, and have no way of finding out what mp3 I should try to find either. BTW, does anybody know how to get the ending song off of Gate of Thunder ripped? I've been able to rip the cd of every song except the end, which is rather soothing to put it mildly.

The PCE CDs are non-standard mixed mode CDs, which means that most players won't be able to list all their tracks properly (if at all). Some rippers have problems too, like CDex, which is unable to see any audio track that is right before a data track. Since the last track of most PCE CDs is a data track, it means you won't be able to play/rip the last audio track (hence your problem with GoT).

You can rip those tracks with a proper ripper (Nero, etc). But it's an overkill method and not very user-friendly as a simple player/ripper... I suggest you give a try to VUPlayer. It's a great CD player, and one of the very few that perfectly support any kind of mixed mode CD.

well, once again Kaminari, excellent suggestion, played perfectly, Thank you very much! Another question I have is about Hu Cards, titles like Time Cruise, which a lot of the bonus round music I'd like to use as ringers on my cell phone... just a thought, though I'm pretty green in this area, so any explicit help is appreciated.

Now that's a tougher job.

You can get the HES file at various places, like Zophar or my own site. The HES audio format is pretty similar to NSF, it's a ROM stripped of everything that is not music data. Problem is, you can't simply convert it to SMF or some other ringtone format. You'd have to disassemble the ROM, convert the music data down to its original MML format (MML is a simple music writing format in ASCII, which looks like a stylesheet), then convert the MML to SMF.

Some Japanese tools exist for various systems, but I don't think there's anything you can get from the PC Engine right now. You'd better transcript yourself the music by ear on your cellphone
