Been playing the Japanese version of Dynastic Hero and made it to the Sphinx's quiz game. Of course since I no speaky de Japanese, I have no way of comprehending the questions. My tactic so far has been to write down the first few characters of each question on paper for as many new questions I can find and then determine the answer by process of elimination. I have 9 questions written down, many with the correct answer indicated, but it's still hard to match up the characters and submit the answer in time for the 10 second (ish) limit.

Anyone have any tips for this part? Screenshots for all the answers even? I may have to load the game up in a emulator and take screenshots myself and post them here for future reference.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I tried writing them down at first, but found that I did much better just relying on overall memory and reflexes. I don't know how much you can read, but my Japanese was pretty limited the first time I played through, but I still recognized the questions and answers.

If someone could provide screenshots of each of the questions we could tell the right answers for each.

Weird because I must have posted in this thread right before I went to bed because I had a dream last night where I played through this part of the game...

You're playing the Jp version?  Seems like it shouldn't be hard to track down the US version, heck, you could even play it on your Wii!

Just beat it out of luck! I was taking more pictures and figuring out correct answers and before I knew it I had already guessed four questions correctly.

I might still go back and play this in an emulator to take shots for each question, for a future reference guide. Anyone else is welcome to do this too.

I don't mean a litteral US version, but rather, an emulated version, whether it be on Wii......or other sources. :)
