TurboGrafx Boxes

This is a dumb question and I probably already know the answer but as I have only ever played and collected Japanese PC Engine games.. I don't know.

Did every TurboGrafx game come originally packaged in plastic case and a cardboard outer box?

Just curious as I would like to get all the games that were never released in Japan and on eBay you very rarely see TurboGrafx games with boxes so didn't know whether I would be getting a complete game or not.

Many but not all.

Keith Courage (TG-16 pack in) did not come with cardboard box
Vasteel had only cardboard sleeve, 3 sides.

With the exception of KC, all early/mid games came in a shrink wrapped box, which contained jewel case/manual/sleeve/hucard.
They eventually did away with the jewel cases, not sure exactly when this started, but it was towards the end.

Sparkys label thread has a list of all 21 turbo chip games that did not come with a case. All turbochip games came with some sort of box, except Keith courage which was a box in. Not sure about the specifics on the Cd games.

Well, to continue with the "pack-in" exceptions, the TurboDuo did not include boxes for any of the games...

I don't think the girlie games are boxed.  They came jewel case only.  Same as Keith Courage unless you're talking the Uber Rare UK Keith Courage.

Insanity is also Jewel Case until Ark decides to come off that stack of 500 custom boxes he had made.

Yeah, I was about to say, I've never seen the Girly games boxes. They have the bare minimum of packaging with only a one-sided insert and slim jewel case.
