Hakko FR300

I finally bit the bullet and ordered one so I can retire my old squeeze bulb sucker.  Just wondering how many of you might have one and if so what are the pros and cons (if there are any cons that is).  I'm hoping this tool gets me caught up on piles of personal repair work.

I don't have this exact one, but I will say that a high grade desoldering tool makes everything so much better.
keep in mind, you will have to clean it constantly.
if solder hardens up in the lines, it's a HUGE bitch to fix.

I have a hakko 808 which is the model they made before that.  the 808 is awesome so im sure the fr300 is too.  it has a few upgrades over the 808 like better pump, heats up faster, and a power switch.

you may want to buy a couple extra nozzles as it only comes with a 1mm.  i would get a smaller and larger sized one.  i think they make 0.8, 1.0, 1.3 and 1.6mm sizes

I seem to remember some chat peeps talk about how much they enjoy them, I still use a bulb though as I don't do a ton of soldering normally.
