Oh yes. That looks like authentic Japanese food to the extent that it looks more Japanese than actual Japanese food does.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: When I lived in southern california, I had sundubu jjigae (tofu hot pot) all the time. So convenient (everywhere). Now I have to go to NYC to find equivalent quality.

Half the restaurants in Seoul are fried chicken places. Just give me the spicy sesame one and a pisswater Hite/Cass/Max and I can go back to Tokyo happy.
