Hopefully the person owns up or is outed because now I am nervous about sending my duo-r out to get worked on by anyone here  ](*,)

Is there a list of reputable people here I can send it to if need be? PM would be appreciated :)

I can see if its an honest mistake it's one thing but providing service based on false advertisement is another.
Turbo fan since 1991 after owning my first system.

Seems like there are too many questions here.
-Nobody can say how long ago the work was done, besides "I don't believe it was that long back". I'm not a modder but based on the comments in this thread, it's a valid question.
-What was promised and agreed to prior to the work being done?
-What did the modder confirm was done after the fact?

I'm not trying to discredit Mike or defend the mystery modder here, but without the facts this thread is slanted. I'm guessing only two members have those answers, and both have chosen to not get involved.

I've only dealt with a couple of modders here and my experiences were positive, but it's been a few years since I've had work done.

At this time you could say this thread is not intended for you. Its here as a record in case more/similar shit happens by same said person, and we are going to leave it at that. Till then this thread will be locked. There is no point in people speculating, because the simple fact of the matter is, I am not going to name any names at this time, as I said in the first post. If you send your system off to any tech/modder here and there ends up being a issue, feel free to post about it, and name said person, or don't, up to you. This particular situation has nothing to do with you, currently anyway.
