Neutopia 2 is such a great game. I dig it more than link to the past.

That's a bold statement! Much as I like Neutopia 2, the atmosphere is chintzy. LttP is much more emotionally captivating.

That's a pretty good point. I think for me, it only comes down to the weapons and controller response. You're probably right thought, as much as I'd love to believe my own claims, SNES scored two nearly perfect games with LTTP and SMW.

Mine as always been bonk 3. When I was a kid I went to buy it and had a copy in my hand. My brother said it was the duo CD version and not hu card and put it back and never found it in public again. To this day i'm not sure if he was right. Then as I got older I tried to get it off and on either not having enough, or no one willing to sell it for a decent price. I still refuse to pay over $100 for it even then I don't feel like I should pay that.

A working CD system, for me. I have a broken add-on as well as a broken Duo. Awesome. At one time, I owned 2 working add-ons. I sold one to a buddy and kept the other for about a year before falling on hard times and ending up selling it. I've had a stack of CD games that I've been slowly amassing locally (yard sales, thrift stores, etc.) including some real gems but they just sit there, for now. I believe this year I'll break down and buy a Duo-RX but I also wanna see if someone can fix up my US Duo, just because it deserves to not be broken. It's too pretty!

As for games, I lack all the usual suspects that go for top dollar, but Bonk 3 is certainly the one I'm most interested in playing of the bunch.

Unless you get it cheap, dont bother.  It's by far the worst of the 3 of them.
All is well. :)

That's precisely what I've heard and precisely why I don't own it yet. I could emulate, but blah. I like the real thing, baby.

Well given no TG16 was released in NZ almost EVERY game was/is a problem.  Though every now and then a PCE would turn up from one of the many Japanese families who moved over, i once found a stack of empty PC boxes ( controllers boxes etc ) but nothing else...  Thinking of games from other systems that eluded me.. Atari 2600 Raiders of the lost ark.  i had it as a kid and never figured it out.. ( would have helped if i read the manual ).. for some reason i read it recently and realised why i couldnt get very far into it.. doh.. needed a second controller!.  Funnily enough now that i wanted to give it a go, its one of those games that was so crappy i cant find it locally.. .. of course anything atari has a high price ( just cos its old doesnt mean its worth alot !).. I also remember seeing Neo Geo AES in the shops and thinking how cool that was.. ( so was the black and white Game boy next to it ;) ).. but again you never ever see or hear of them locally.. even though they did sell some..
Looking for (MINT ONLY)

US Box : Turrican,  Soldier Blade, New Adventure Island, Neutopia II
Other : Sapphire OBI, Turbo Play Aug/Sept 90, April/May 92, Turbo Edge Spring 90
