HELP: Bomberman '93 Sound Test
« on: November 26, 2005, 01:30:10 AM »
I swear there is a sound test in this game but I can't find it anywhere. I did a search and only found a cheat that didn't work (I think it was for the original, not '93).

Can anyone help?

I posted something like this on another forum but I don't know if you saw that XD

Well here it is if you still are interested.

Once the the ending credits and music theme has faded away just press down + RUN + Button 2 + Button 1 all at the same time and you should hear a noise.  Just do a soft reset and start a normal game when the descriptions of the first boss appears you should then go into this screen and have access to the music and config screen

Ah so you have to complete it first.

Not sure I want to stress myself out on that final boss again.

Wow, great info! Thanks for sharing this with us. Are you familiar with any other games that only offer "debugging modes" when you beat a game? For example, after the ending credits in Blazing Lazers (GunHed), I recall something appearing on the screen hinting at a special code... stuff like that is interesting.

I'm not really that familiar with pc engine cheats/secrets.  I only have cheats/codes for a few games (especially those with great tunes like magical chase where theres a hidden sound menu) but if you want a cheat on a certain game I'm pretty sure myself or someone else can find one for ya XD

Steve,

On the title screen, push Left/Right ten times while keeping Select pressed. You should reach the music test.
