MOTO ROADER MC
« on: October 18, 2013, 10:13:02 AM »
Always loved the Off Road series, specially in the arcade and this seems to be the closest thing the PCE has to it.  Is this one worth owning? About how rare and expensive is it?

Off Road and Super Sprint are awesome games.

MotoRoader MC isn't as immediately charming or addictive (not to me, anyway).

MC is challenging, and perhaps I'll get into the game after I make some real progress...I remember Tatsujin was trying to figure out something about MC's weapon system, but I wasn't able to help him.

I think MC costs about $25-$30?

If it is still that price, it is well worth the cost.  I love Off Road and that was the reason I picked the game up.  I would still take Ivan Ironman over this, but they compliment each other on the shelf well.

I always though that the "obey your thirst" ad slogan was hilarious. The thrust of it was: "Don't listen to advertisements. Now drink Sprite."
Take off yer flip flops and set up the tripod: it's bag kickin' time!

Haven't played them in years but from what I can recall:
MR2 > MR > MR MC >

Always loved the Off Road series[/img]

I  recommend Battle Cross on the Super Famicom, it's one of the best I've played in this style of game.

Damn, between this and the Super Bomberman multiplayer, I'll have to get a tap and extra controllers in the future.

not a fan of MC...it feels like a demo off an Ultra Box disk or something. No cutscenes...no character. The cover is misleading.

You must be thinking of an actual Ultra Box demo instead, because Motoroader MC has opening and ending cinematics featuring the characters from the cover.

Ha! He's thinking of the 3/4 overhead skateboarding/scootering (?!) minigame on UltraBox X...

It was kinda cutesy.
