Looks like a solid replica, though I prefer the Genesis sound chip to the SMS in this case.

He should have used the SMS FM chip.

Btw. it looks really close to the MDs graphics in some parts.
and just shows, that the MD wasn't graphically such a capable system.
MD musha aleste is considered to be one of the better looking games on the system.
