Here are my updates
Knack -- I couldn't get into it. I really liked it a lot at first but it just failed to hold my interest. I played it for about 5-6 hours and just sold it for what i paid for it. I really liked the animation and colors but couldn't really get into the game play. I was probably about half way through on hard. I think it might be slightly more enjoyable with a second person.
Contrast -- I think this game may have been rushed just to have something free for PS+ at launch. It is short it doesn't control well, there are tons of glitches and the puzzles are fairly basic. I think given more time they could have had something with the moving in shadows concept. If anyone is a trophy person this one wouldn't be to hard to get 100% but there is no platinum. The setting is interesting in like a fictional 1920's city.
Resogun -- as we have all said really fun. I have saved all the humans on all the stages and my try to casually platinum it like munch. I really liked the last stage a lot.
Call of Duty -- if your not into the series this one certainly isn't going to change your mind but the big promises pre-release were the dog, the squads mode, and dynamic maps and I feel all of those have come up short. As I mentioned earlier I think the spawning is as bad as any multi-player shooter I have ever played.
Battlefield 4 -- is my go to shooter right now. It plays a touch slower than Cod and I like that the maps are bigger so that I can get into long distance gun fights. I also like the vehicles and enjoy 3 game modes conquest, TDM, and rush. I figure I will be playing this one for a while. Single player is not worth anything on this one.
I still have only played Assasins Creed IV, Killzone, and NBA sparingly but I will probably start ACIV this weekend.
Two December digital games I have my eye on are Escape Plan which is a vita title from last year but I have yet to play it and Doki Doki Universe, but I will have to see exactly what that one is about.
