There's also a translation for SM2. SamIam did the script translation for me, and even translated all the cinemas. The in game text is almost done (my side is the hold up). There are plans to redub the game as well (Ys IV) style.

Along with Fighting Street, SideArms was one of the main reasons I bought my Turbo Duo and was one of my first four turbo games.

Very true. I love Target Earth and Mark 2 is very well presented but I could not master the controls and my games end up being life meter management rather than shooting things. I have a softspot for Sidearms (right, Josh?) and I think the gameplay is better for a shmup.

Nando -> Sidearms should be a cheapy, so get it. I would rec getting Spriggan over Mark 2 if you have not already scored you a copy yet. If you like Assault Suits Leynos games, then go for Mark 2.

I LOVED, LOVED Target earth on the Genesis. Could never finish the damn game without the cheat. I actually bought Target Earth, cause it reminded me of SideArms.

I think I will forever have SideArms robot sounds embedded into my brain.
