Post something outlandish calling it a fact, get called out when it's proven wrong and argue incessantly that you're right while insulting others.
In other words, what a bunch of members do there on a regular basis. 
And not all of them! I don't want to paint too broad of a brush. If more members were like you and less like some others, it'd be a much better environment.

When I joined, I caught Hell (from some) since I had bought a CMVS from an unpopular modder and mentioned it. People thought I might be a fake account or joined to praise/bitch about the modder. I just remained myself and it all worked out.
