Benkei Gaiden WTF?

iam playing benkei gaiden at the moment (12 hours) and WTF is wrong with that game? random Encounters nearly every 2-5 steps, reviving characters not possible during battle, leveling up takes hours, enemies drop nearly not enough money and the bosses are hard.

i played a lot of rpgs in my life so far, but that game drives me mad. it makes me want to throw my game pad at the wall every time i play it.

snake tower took me 10 tries to finally beat the enemy there! and iam only 3/4 through the game...

I guess you haven't played many 8-bit JRPGs?

I haven't finished BG yet, but found it really fun.

At least battles can be fast (beats prolonged infrequents fights for me).

no i havent played many 8bit rpgs, but i think benkei gaiden really is hard^^
i will play through it for sure but it is painful.

are necromancer, susan-o, sindibad the same?

where can i get the mermaids tear? i beat the earth dragon and went so mt. sakurajima. there are some mermaids but i cannot get a mermaids tear. also there is one mermaid i cannot reach due to water. what should i do there?

did you play through the game? i finished it today and the final battles were very easy.

btw, kanaya=kyoto thats a mistake i made when i put the names on the map.
