Duo RX, minus the X

Check this out:

What's missing from this picture?

Note how the power adaptor cord ever so subtly covers the instruction manual's picture of the controller...

The only thing missing is the official DuoRX 6-button controller. Funny how the seller is tries to conceal the picture of the 6B controller on the manual. I see no point in it, since the buyer should be able to notice the difference. The price is also a little high for loose system, but Hit-Japan is one the best sellers on ebay offering jpn imports.

I'd never buy hardware off him again. Bought a Duo off him about 2 years back and the pad was dodgy and the system dead. He sent a replacement pad but claimed the system wasn't his problem as it was an antique.

I'd never had a problem with Hit-Japan. I've bought pce games and accessories from them several times before, and they always arrived on time and in the condition as described. Of course I've never bought a Duo from them. I'm not surprised though, since Duos are a dying breed. I once bought two Duos from Japangamestock and both came DOA, and someone told me it was a reliable store. After my experience with Japangamestock, I don't ever want to do business with them again.

Love hit-japan. Great service -- great prices. I did lose a little respect for them now though -- it is obvious that they're trying to conceal the 6-button controller on the manual cover.  :?

I swore off Hit-Japan after one transaction. His grading is very inconsistent. He rates pretty much everything "good" condition when about 2/3 of the stuff I received was fair at best.

Yeah, I haven't ordered from hit-japan for over 2 years... as others have said, the condition of the items is often "fair"... which explains why he had such low prices for the items I wanted. He should have been honest about the condition... I would have paid more money for stuff in better condition.

Oh well...

I ordered two PCFX games a few weeks back from Hit-Japan.

And the transaction went flawlessly.

And even as an added bonus of sorts, I ordered one game from him one day, and on the next I ordered a second game, and they noticed that I had ordered two games- so they packed them together and I saved like $4 on shipping.

So far so good!

PS: But I'll have to pay closer attention to those pix... missing 6 button gamepad should be noted- FINGER OF SHAME!!
