Turbo/PCE controller encoder chip?
« on: February 11, 2014, 06:25:56 AM »
Hey guys,

I want to make an adapter for using a custom arcade stick on my Turbo, but I really don't want to sacrifice a controller to do it.  Does anyone know what encoder chip the turbo controller uses, and if there is a version of it that's still available?

If not, does anyone have a broken controller that they want to sell on the cheap?

Thanks!

Chris

the encoder chip is: 74LS157 chip

and although this guide is for converting an NES to Duo you should get an idea how to do it:

Yeah, that guide is great. I used it to convert a couple genesis pads before.
