This Duo R system was fully refurbished by doujindance. The CD lens is brand new and barely used. Load times are as fast as any PCE CD system I've ever played.
The I/O ports have been "strengthened".
The CD read light has been replaced by a bright blue LED.
The standard A/V jack looks the same, but now outputs either S-Video or RGB using the provided cables and there is a switch next to the port to toggle between RGB/S-Video.
There is a region switch located inside the HuCard door space.
This recent Duo RX listing of his on eBay has all of the same work done:

*It could be considered incomplete because it doesn't include the original generic AV cord.
Most people love doujindance's work. I found that the S-Video picture was overly red colored and overall not what I'm used to. You can see DVD quality footage captured direct from the system here:

The Fatal Fury Special clip at the end shows how lightning fast the system loads.
I cannot test the RGB output, but the eBay listing when I bought it featured a video of this particular system doing everything it was upgraded for, including RGB video.
All of the other photos I took were in a room with poor lighting, which makes everything look kinda yellow. This next photo of the console was taken outside and shows how non-yellow everything actually is:Includes the same Duo R pad that doujindance included as being in 'brand new perfect working" condition. Although it looks very nice, the I button is sometimes unresponsive. Should be easy to fix.
$300 + shipping by Canada Post.Although I usually get things sent off pretty quick, depending on how everything lines up, it could take me a few days to ship.
