Turbo Express/Everdrive question
« on: May 10, 2014, 08:04:53 AM »
I popped the Everdrive into my Express and I just get a bright screen. It works in my Duo-R fine. When I hit the reset switch (for switching between US & JP systems) it lights up on the Everdrive but I just get the bright screen. My Express does not have the region mod either.

Popped in a JP Hu and got the same bright screen. I'm wondering if my Everdrive reset switch is broken.

Does anyone use their Everdrive in their Express so I know it does work?

EDIT: Solved with a little research imagine that ](*,)

The cover made it hard to see the proper switch

I wish it was a little recessed at that spot!

Yeah, the switch is tiny , it's easy to miss.  So how's the new LCD compared to the stock?
Turbo fan since 1991 after owning my first system.

Much crisper picture to me. Reading the Everdrive files is no big deal. If anyone notices the .1" difference in screen size I'd be surprised. I'm really glad I had it done.

I thought the sound was good when I bought it a few years ago but now I don't want to turn it up for fear of wasting the speaker. 8)

If I had another Express/GT with a screen issue I wouldn't hesitate to replace it.

Once I get it back, I want to make a little video showing off it's handheld/console abilities. Not really for here since most members are aware of the option. For others since I only found out myself recently.
