I like the black Duos better.  The thing with the converter is that I could use it with a Turbo Duo, Turbo Express and TurboGrafx 16.  The point is I could play my Japanese Hucards anywhere instead of carrying around a TurboGrafx 16 instead of an express with me.
Let the old mix with the new.

You going to really hate using an Express with an adapter sticking out of it. It just kills the experience. I have a nice condition Express myself, but i region modded it for PC Engine hucards (since thats all i own). Consider doing that (or having it done).

I know what you mean.  Have you ever attached a Sonic and Knuckles game with a Sonic game onto a game Genie into a genesis nomad, but it's o.k. for me.  Thanks anyway.

Where can you have the Express region modded at?  I checked out D-Lite's site, but it seems he does the region mod on every system except for the TE, which is understandable considering its tiny size.

I did my own. Its not very hard, just time consuming. Note though, that i just modified my Express to play japanese hucards. I didnt install any kind of switch. I dont own any US hucards anyhow, so i didnt feel the need for a switch anyhow.

I just ordered a sealed Turbo Duo system.  So I won't be getting a turbo Express now because the Duo cost me $500, but at least it comes with the seven games inside.  I chose to buy it new because it's not too often that you come across a person selling a new turbo Duo that is not on ebay.  If it was on Ebay it would have cost me at least $600-700.

Congrats. I hope you enjoy it. I know I enjoy my PC Engine DUO. Wish I had more HuCards though.
