Hello all,
I've owned several PC-FX over the last 10 years. I bought and sold many. I never had issue with them.
The last one I have (I bought 2 at the same time from a Japanese reseller) was said as JUNK.
I found out what was the issue: the power supply.
First I changed the main fuse (2.5A/100V) with a euro one (2.5A/250V, I live in France current is 230V/50Hz) but it kept blowing (don't really now why). So I start planning to create my own power supply that would fit in the console and that would be compatible with 230 and 110V (as almost all recent power supplies).
However, as I don't own a working PC-FX , I can't figure out what is the pinout of the two connectors that give power to the mainboard (CN1 and CN2 on the power supply board).
Does somebody in here knows or maybe can help me by checking the voltage on pins?
Maybe someone has a junk PC-FX (with a working power supply) and would either lend or sell me the power supply?
Thanks in advance
