Pc-fx pad cost
« on: February 28, 2015, 04:46:02 AM »
I was just wondering if anyone knew the average price of a joypad for the pc-fx these days?

I've been looking on eBay and the prices for one pad are more than I paid for the console in the first place, which kind of negates the bargain price I got it for  :?

Just looked on eBay.uk ... so 15 pounds is more than you want to pay? I think that you may have got a little spoiled by that 2100Y console!

From what I can see, the 28 pound new-in-box one is still comparable to the US eBay prices.

I paid a bit more to get a boxless console with 2 pads (on it's slow journey from Japan), since I don't really care about the box.

Hopefully someone can help you ... or if you can wait a few months I'm going to end up with 5 of the damned things after some combined-auctions, although international shipping would be prohibitive and I might just look for a 2nd console.

I never said I wasn't willing to pay it! (It was the boxed one I was looking at) More that I wanted to check I wasn't being fleeced, just never trust eBay. I don't buy from there now if I can help it as prices always seem to be over inflated.
But thanks for the help. (Don't think I'm spoiled by the price of the console, I'm perfectly aware of the usual cost of them, that's why i held off on getting one for so long  [-(  )

Well, good luck!

And love the handle! I wish now that I hadn't given all my old issues of 2000AD and StarLord to a friend when I emigrated.

Haha thanks Elmer.  Showing my age with that one eh?    Yeah, Alan Grant is a legend, we're having our first ever comic con in my hometown and he's guest of honour! Although he's probably more famous for his work with DC & Batman across the pond.

I ended up getting the ebay one so at least I can play some games when my pc-fx arrives, (after a course of yellow removal ;) )

We're all getting older!

Yes, he's a legend. So many classics came out in those days. I can only assume that you loved the 80's comic scene in Britain.

I may have got rid of my 200ADs, but I kept all the original Warrior's with Alan Moore's V For Vendetta and MarvelMan.

So sad to hear that Steve Moore (Warrior's Axel Pressbutton & Laser Eraser) passed away last year ... a nice guy. Hopefully Titan eventually came out with the reprints ... maybe they'll be at the comic con.
