WTB: TG16 power supply
« on: October 31, 2015, 12:03:28 PM »
I was going to just buy one of those 3-in-1 PSUs from ebay but none of them specifically said 10.5v...

Hoping to buy a TG16 power supply from someone here, so I know it will be right...

Thanks!

Any 9v DC adapter of the correct polarity and size will work.  Genesis 1 adapters will work.  DO NOT use a regular Nintendo adapter as they will damage your system.

BlueBMW is right. Shop around you may find a Sega model 1 for less than this but

http://www.amazon.com/Sega-Genesis-AC-Adapter-Power-Supply/dp/B000035XQ7

Then grab this from console5.com

http://console5.com/store/turbo-duo-power-supply-plug-adapter-cable.html

That should take care of you for less than what a real PCE, TDuo power supply would cost you.

Edit:
Pretty sure the genny model 1 needs the adapter correct? I don't think it fits or has the right polarity without it.

He has a tg16, the Genny 1 plugs right in. The Duo uses a different adapter.

I didn't know Genny power plugs work with the TurbGrafx.  Good to know.  Thank you.
