I wish I could offer advice, but the longer this thread carries on the less I feel I know about how your drive(s) were configured, are presently configured, and what exactly the goal is.I will say that I am glad to hear you were able to make a backup. So long as you have that, you are safe to try whatever hocus pocus the computer gods demand.
Anyone know where I can get a Windows 7 64-bit ISO with SP1? My erecovery management disks aren't working. I choose English for the language....& that's how far it takes me! It gives me 3 options, but I can't select them, all I can select is Exit. I've found a few links to ISO's....with dead links. Tried Microsoft, but they want me to use my erecovery junk...I almost feel like getting either of these to get a clean install, though I know nothing about Fixed:http://www.amazon.com/Fixed-Starter-Professional-Ultimate-Installer/dp/B00W02G83E/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1445585793&sr=8-8&keywords=windows7+home+premium+64+bithttp://www.amazon.com/dp/B01191ATGI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=385IAZAM6SN8F&coliid=I2HWDIVYJFE9J4
