Classic Turbo Grafx/Duo PC Engine Collection
« on: November 19, 2015, 02:48:52 AM »
Hi there PC Engine / Turbo Folks!

I've decided that my PC Engine collection has been sitting in a box too long, and that it's time to let it go and allow someone who will give it more appreciation have it. It probably sounds a bit unrealistic, but I'd like to keep the collection together and avoid selling it peace meal, so I'm just going to throw this out there. I've priced the collection to move, everything listed is complete without box unless otherwise noted. Images are attached to the post in a zip :).

Let me know if you decide to piece some of it out.  I'm in Toledo and you have a few items I would be interested in.

At least this lot is priced at around the sum of high end eBay sale prices and not as much of a pipe dream as these types of posts usually are. Still not worth buying as a lot for a collector or game player and especially not outside of eBay and especially not craigslist.

So although the sarcastic comments will be light, this will be yet another lot that rots until the seller eventually tries selling things separately and ends up with far less than the asking price, with a stack of leftover titles that people usually give away for free. Defeating the whole point of trying to sell such a large lot on the first place.

As a person who collects, these bulk lots aren't very useful. Primarily because inevitably they will contain loads of doubles that people won't want to repurchase again. Especially considering your collection is split between US and Japanese items. Most collectors tend to want to focus on one or the other.

As it has already been said, you'll probably do better if you separate the lot.
