I would recommend MyFitnessPal. It's a phone app and tracks your food intake, especially useful when deciding on whether or not to get seconds come dinnertime.

Also, I concur with the three months and buy-in.

Yes,everyone I know seems to like this app.

The fitbit app has nice food tracker software as well, I stopped using my fitness pal after I got my fitbit because it did basically the same thing

I'd join but college life isn't being kind to my figure.  I went from a low of 178 to a high of 195 now.  though I lost 5lbs this week to some food poisoning.

UPDATE: tonight I ate 6 slices of pizza,drank a 2 liter of soda, leftover garlic broccoli, a huge bag of chips, and other stuff.

I lost 4lbs from playing pokeman go, but life on the pokemon road caused in intake in gas station food this week which probably will put me up more lbs than before go  :(

Here is the link for the weight loss challenge. If you miss the start date, don't worry. It's a three month challenge, a few days isn't going to make much difference. That being said, I recommend getting started before this weekend.
