Far East Of Eden : Tengai Makyo Kabuki Den - I have been playing this game and have almost beaten it and it's a fantastic RPG as Runin pointed out. I don't know any Japanese, but it feels like I am playing this game in English - not exagerrating.
Dynastic Heroes - Excellent port of a excellent game. There are quite a few changes from the Genesis version and they are for better and for worse, but it really depends on your opinion. I personally like it a little more because of the graphics and music, but people like Seldane will disagree. Regardless, it's worth getting if you're a fan of the series.
Bukkiriman World CD - Haven't played, but I have seen the video on
The PC Engine Software Bible and it looks very interesting, though boring. I'm not sure what the point is, but you just talk to a bunch of crazy people.
The Legend of Xanadu - Very original and fun game and I highly recommend it if you are into action-RPGs. The overhead scenes can be a bit boring though since you have to go from town-to-town talking to people until you get to the dungeon, but it's overall a lot of fun. The side scrolling parts are fantastic.
Ys 4 : Dawn of Ys - I never understood how runin couldn't get into this game, but I love it and it's just as good as I & II in my opinion, though they do have a different pace to them. To me, Ys IV feels more like I & II than any other game in the series because of you receive a lot of the same items and weapons as long as revisiting some special places in Ys I & II and shares a few familar tunes. Don't get me wrong, I like I & II more, but IV is fantastic and gives you more to explore. Great gameplay (improved controls and bosses, in my opinion), graphics, music, and adventure, this game can't be passed up.
